Holiday Spirit in the Capitol Rotunda December 19, 2009

Hot Cross Bones and guest artists will present a program of holiday music for trombone choir at 7:00 p.m. on December 17 at the Crossroads Church and then again at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 19, 2009, in the Capitol Rotunda. This performance will feature many of the area’s best trombonists and is free to the public.

Ride the Drive August 30, 2009

Hot Cross Bones participated in Madison’s first Ride the Drive event to celebrate healthy modes of transportation while enjoying the beauty of our city. The weather was beautiful and the turnout was fantastic. Hands-On WYOU Membership Drive & Fundraiser

On April 18, 2009, we returned to the Coliseum Bar to open the entertainment for this annual fundraising event. Jim Huwe played drums with us that night.

2008 Hot Cross Bones Christmas

As in previous years, we put on a public concert of Christmas music in the Capitol Rotunda on December 20, 2008. This year our concert coincided with the Merry Tuba Christmas, which took place about 30 minutes after we finished.

2008 Madison Scouts Reunion

Since three of our members have ties to the Madison Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps, we were invited to play during their reunion at the Kalahari Resort on September 27, 2008.
