Hot Cross Bones kicked off WYOU’s festive summer party, with a high-energy show at the High Noon Saloon on Sunday, July 12, 2009. It was part of the membership drive and fundraiser for Madison’s community television station, WYOU. Click on the photo below for some pictures taken by Lynne Navis.

On April 18, 2009, we returned to the Coliseum Bar to open the entertainment for this annual fundraising event. Jim Huwe played drums with us that night.

As in previous years, we put on a public concert of Christmas music in the Capitol Rotunda on December 20, 2008. This year our concert coincided with the Merry Tuba Christmas, which took place about 30 minutes after we finished.

Since three of our members have ties to the Madison Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps, we were invited to play during their reunion at the Kalahari Resort on September 27, 2008.
